I'm Carson Daly...and I'm a massive tool. ...We're here live in Times Square on this beautiful Monday Morning with Suchin Pak and Iann Robinson celebrating the success of MTV's new CD, "The Best of TRL Pop", in stores now. (he turns to Suchin and Iann) You know guys, this is such a great CD. Suchin Pak: Yea I agree, Carson, a lot of great tracks. Everyone should go out and buy it right now. Carson Daly: Exactly. Iann Robinson: ...I think this CD sucks donkey...but go get it anyway! (he makes the "Rock and Roll" gesture with his hands) Suchin Pak: Yea, seriously. If you don't, then you're not cool. Carson Daly: Not cool at all. I know I wouldn't be your friend. Iann Robinson: Neither would I. (makes the "rock and roll" gesture again) Suchin Pak: Anyway, the CD features about 20 of your favorite artists, groups, and divas who have all had hits on TRL. Carson Daly: Not to mention the singles that made them famous, like "Fetuccini in a Bottle" by Christina Fagulera! Suchin Pak: And "Liquid Jiz" by OH-town! Carson Daly: Hey, don't forget about "I Wanna Be Your Girlfriend" by Lip*Sync! Suchin Pak: And just to give you a small preview, here's a clip from the Backyard Boys' video, "Show Me How to Fry Balonie"! (shows a clip of fake video. The performers are in a kitchen acting dramatically to the music. Screen is in black and white. Song is spoof of "Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely") The Backyard Boys: "Show me how...to fry balonie" (music starts) "so many meats so little time it's hard to see when ain't got no lights got my ba-lonie and some cheese, now baby grab my skillet grab my 'Pam' spray some on but I burn my hand it hurts like crap I suck at cooking, yea! Show me how...to fry balonie where are the knobs? you'll have to show me tell me why the house smells like propane it must be cuz' it's up in flames" (music slowly fades and goes back to original setting) Carson Daly: Wow! My gosh, you guys! That is like, my favorite song, Suchin! The Backyard Boys rule!!!!!! Iann Robinson: ...Carson, you're such an ass monkey! Suchin Pak: Ooh! Iann got crunk! Carson Daly: What? Excuse me?! You're talking to the host of TRL, Carson Daly! I have my own show on NBC! At least I'm not some unknown VJ from MTV2! Iann Robinson: Wait a minute! It's not MTV2! It's MTV...(makes "rock and roll" hand gesture)..2!! Carson Daly: Right...that's what I said,MTV2! Iann Robinson: No!! It's MTV...(makes hand gesture again)..2! Suchin Pak: ...Anywayz! We have here a couple of clips of your favorite artists making comments about MTV's new CD! Take a look! (cuts to clip. Shows Lenny Kravitz in front of the camera looking cool as usual) Lenny Kravitz: Hey ya'll, Lenny here. People say that I'm a throwback to the the Sixties and that I'm a Jimi Hendrix wannabe, but one thing is for sure...I've got a big 'fro. Let love Rule! Buy this CD! (cuts to clip of Christina Fagulera looking slutty, as usual) Christina Fagulera: Hey guys, I'm Christina Fagulera and I'm just here urging you to get "Mtv's The Best of TRL Pop". This CD contains my whole life's work! Yea two songs!! And I'm also here to say that I won't be realeasing another album because I'm a talentless whore!!! See ya! (returns to original setting) Suchin Pak: That was great, Carson! Carson Daly: Sure was! Well here comes a clip from another artist on the track listing, Britney Spearz with "I'm a Slave for Food"! (fake video appears and features a fat britney in a deli shop; song is spoof of "I'm A Slave For You". Music Starts) Britney Spearz: [ singing ] "All you people look at me like I'm a big fat cow but did you ever really think that I could fool you all somehow? Is is sugar free? How many calories? what the hell, who cares as long as it fits in my mouth, then bring on the 'Rice Krispies' squares! I'm a...slave...for food I can't deny it it's not like I can hide it I'm a...slave...for food the food keeps on comin' and I can not control it" (music slowly ends, returns to normal setting) Suchin Pak: Yo, ya'll. Is it just me, or was Britney chunky-dunky in that video? Carson Daly: Yea, she's put on a few pounds, but what an awesome song! Suchin Pak: And it's right here on this CD! What do you think about it, Iann? Iann Robinson: ...I think Carson's a fag. Suchin Pak: Well darn, we're out of time!
