(Applause continues) okay, that’s enough! Don’t make me have to bash your knees! It’s great to be here, hostin’ SNL! You know, lotta my friends have hosted this show. Joe Pesci, Joe Mantegna, Jerry Seinfeld, and my co-star in the new flick “Analyze That”, Billy Crystal! I say Jerry Seinfeld, because he is a real good friend of mine. In fact, I would love nothing more, than to do an impression of him for my monologue. Okay, here I go... (A brick background flies down for production value) (In a Seinfeld asking humor voice) Why do people go to... (cut off by the entrance of Al Pacino) Al Pacino: Aaugh! Aaugh! Bobby, what are you doing? You’re tearing this show a part! Robert DeNiro: What? Al Pacino: Your friends? Your friends? Where the hell am I? I’m done! Robert DeNiro: What Al, make some friggin’ sense! (Exit Al Pacino; enter Garry Shandling) Garry Shandling: What, Bobby, I must agree with Al on this one, I don’t know? Is it you or is it me? Robert DeNiro: Larry Sanders? Where the hell did you come from? Garry Shandling: Bobby, I’d like to stay and chat, but I must go and promote the Larry Sanders Reruns on Bravo. Is it me? (Garry Shandling walks off stage with a questiony expression on his face) (Re-enter Al Pacino) Al Pacino: Who-haaa! Robert DeNiro: I must apologize for the chaos. Let’s get back to where we were…(in the Seinfeld asking humor voice) Why do people go to…(once again cut off by the entrance; this time cut off by Jerry Seinfeld) Jerry Seinfeld: What you are you doing? That’s not me? Come on, you’re out of your mind; that’s not me, that’s you trying to do an impression of me! Robert DeNiro: Well, yeah! Jerry Seinfeld: Go, get out of here! You’re makin’ me sick! Don’t you have a sketch to change for? Robert DeNiro: Yeah, Jerry, I do! Jerry Seinfeld: Then go! I’ll finish this for you! (DeNiro exits the main stage) Okay...let’s do this thing! Why do people go to the movies and talk on their cell phones? Isn’t that so annoying? What about how you always seem to lose your socks in the dryer at the laundry mat?
