Jennifer: Lead Singer/Lead Guitar...Avril Lavigne Stacy: Bass Player/Backup Singer...Rachel Dratch Amy: Drummer...Amy Poehler Serena Altchul...Maya Rudolph (The MTV News opening comes on, then shows Serena Altchul in front of the screen with the MTV News background) Serena Altchul: Hey, I'm Serena Altchul with MTV News. First up, get ready to rock! This week I got to sit down with the hottest new band in America to talk about their upcoming debut album titled "Bend Over, Let Me Squeeze". The band of course that I'm talking about is none other than P.R.D.C., the Punk Rock Diva Chicks. Their album has been speculated to go triple platinum within its first week of release. Here is some footage of them performing their first single, titled "Cry Me a River". By the way, that is not to be mistaken with Justin Timberlake's new single of the same name. (the clip plays. It shows the girls in their places. Jennifer, the lead singer, has on a Canadian Flag t-shirt; Stacy, the bass player, has on a British Flag shirt; and Amy, the drummer, has on an American flag t-shirt. They start playing the music. It starts out sounding sad and dramatic, like a love ballad) Jennifer: (singing) "I don't understand why, why you always have to cry, Have you lost all of your dreams? I have to ween you off this crying scheme somehow..." (the music speeds up) "...you're a titty baby... a titty baby, wa wa wa wa, a titty baby! ....A titty baby! ...A titty baby!! Go suck on your mommy's nipple, and cry me a f(bleep)in' river- MOSH PIT!!!!!! (the music becomes outrageous and they all start banging their heads. Music then stops. New scene opens on Serena Altchul's interview with the Punk Rock Diva Chicks) Serena Altchul: So, how did you guys meet? Who started P.R.D.C? Jennifer: That would be me, I'm Jennifer! See, I grew up in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada, and ever since I could remember, I wanted to be an ass kicking punk rocker, just like Joan Jett. I then ran into Stacy, who is from Liverpool, and she said she knew a great drummer from Detroit named Amy, and that's the birth of P.R.D.C.! Soon after that, I wrote all of the songs, and Stacy wrote our music. Serena Altchul: Really? Cool, so, what did Amy do? Amy: Oh, they wouldn't let me do anything. I just drum. (she giggles) Stacey: (with British accent) Yea, she's not too smart. Amy: Nope! (she giggles again) Serena Altchul: I see, so where did you guys get your name? Stacey: Well, we first thought about putting our biggest influences' names together, you know, like Kitty and Josie and the Pussycats, which formed the name KittyPuss. Jennifer: Yea, but we realised that it just didn't project the image that we were looking for. I mean, we wanted to be seen as true ass kicking females with a punk rock edge, thus transforming us into the Punk Rock Diva Chicks! Amy: I thought we should've use the name "Buttfungus", because it's raw, like raw sewage, and that's the image that we needed. I mean come on, no one is going to mess with sewage, right? Jennifer: ......That's why she doesn't write the lyrics. Stacey: Yea. Perfect example. Serena Altchul: I notice that you all have different flags on your shirts. What does that mean, who thought of that? It's quite unique! Jennifer: (giggles) Me again! See, I wanted us all to represent our heroes. Amy wears her American flag because she's an American girl who's stylish and really good at keeping up with the beat. Therefore, she's like the Gwen Stefani of the group. Amy: Yea, No Doubt frickin' rocks! Jennifer: Stacey, our bass player wears the British flag because she's a down to Earth girl who's family has always been committed to rock music. Therefore, she's like the Kelly Osbourne of the band because she's from England, and she has a weight problem. Stacey: Hey! Jennifer: I on the other hand am like the Avril Lavigne of the band, because I'm the lead singer and I'm an ass kicking girl from Canada! (she gets up in front of the camera) Canada rocks!! (points to her shirt) Canada is the s(bleep)! Amy: Avril Lavigne?? Yuck! My God, her hair is always brushed down straight in from of her face, she looks like Cousin It from "The Addams Family"! Jennifer: What did you just f(bleep)in' say??! (Amy looks away nervously at the floor) Amy: Gawd, Jennifer, I'm just saying my opinion. Jennifer: I think your opinion sucks. Stacey: Oh not again, you guys! Serena Altchul: So you guys fight a lot, huh? Stacey: Constantly! But we always make up. Amy: I'm sorry I said you looked like Cousin It!! Jennifer: And I'm sorry I didn't respect your opinion!! (they pout, then hug each other very emotionally) Jennifer: Best friends? Amy: Forever and always! (they giggle) Stacey: See. Serena Altchul: So what are your plans for the album? Amy: Well, we were thinking that our next single is going to be "Granny Panties", then after that, it's going to be "Bend Over, Let Me Squeeze", the album's theme. Serena Altchul: Well, thank you guys for your time and for giving MTV the lowdown on P.R.D.C.; hopefully we'll all see you soon on TRL! Jennifer: It's been a pleasure! Stacey: Thank you so much!
