written by: Jen

.....Megan Mullally
Stephen.....Will Forte

[Open to band finishing opening number and Megan comes onto the stage waving and thanking an appreciative audience]

Megan Mullally: Wow! This is amazing! This is such an honor and a privilege. I've wanted to host this show for a long time, but people kept saying you have to be an Oscar winner or under thirty to get asked but.. Stephen: Hail. [Stephen enters stage left wearing a medieval garb, a velvet cape and white tights, he waves his hand in greeting - speaking in a high nasal voice]

Megan Mullally: (disturbed) Hi.

Stephen: How be shining the rosen dawn before me, a light unto the darkness, and my world is darkness until she light it; a flame of passions.

Megan Mullally: Well you sure are cute in those tights.

Stephen: (gasps, throwing his hand melodramatically over his heart) She spake!

Megan Mullally: Well, this isn't Saturday Night Mime.

Stephen: (on bended knee) How my heart beateth, an earthquake within my breast and its crevasses newly formed fill with the liquid of love. How I long to bathe thine milky surfaces in the waves of quivering passions and unspeakable pleasures! If only thy nectar of tenderness would be blessed enough to pass onto my -

Megan Mullally: You know I'm married, right?

Stephen: (full deep voice) No ... (Standing up) does that mean no?

Megan Mullally: Yes.

Stephen: Is that a yes - yes for nectar?

Megan Mullally: It's a yes, no for nectar, yes for I'm married.

Stephen: Alright - this is awkward. I'm so ashamed. (Headed off stage) Oh my confidences have plummeted into the depths of foreign landscaped tortures. To put my spirit in the stocks and hang it awry!

Megan Mullally: Well that was.. nice. And what else is nice is tonight's show! Clay Aiken is here! So stray not from thine frame of play, we'll be right back!
