They’re gonna love you! Record Executive #1: Well I’ve always had a deep respect, and I mean that most sincerely. The band is just fantastic, that is really what I think, it may sound insane. Oh by the way, which one’s Wayne? Record Executive #2: Anyhow, I just want to say, I see a lot of good to come out of this band in the next year! I want daughters to run to their parents and say, “Mommy, Daddy, I want the new Fountains of Youth CD!” Jody Porter: But our name is “Fountains of Wayne”. Record Executive #1: Oh, names aren’t important. It’s the success that you will have! Who cares if your name is this or that, it’s the songs that you sing! Record Executive #2: Yes, and with that, here is the next hit single for the next album. Adam Schlesinger: “M I L F”? Record Executive #2: Yeah, that’s correct. (The two record executives leave the conference room) Adam Schlesinger: I don’t get this, if this keeps up, we’re going to get stereotyped. (Chris Collingwood enters with his new girlfriend) Chris Collingwood: Hey guys, meet my new girlfriend! Her name is LoLo, from Soho! LoLo, from Soho: Fountains of Wayne, me love you long time! Fans have gathered in Central Park to pay tribute to the late singer by playing the band’s greatest hits “MOM”. We go live for some of that tribute.
