Lindsay: Thank you. It's great to be here hosting Saturday Night Live for the first time. This has been an interesting experience because, I don't know if any of you've heard, but I just did this movie with Tina Fey, actually, she wrote it, too. It's called Mean Girls, it came out yesterday..

(Tina Fey walks in, looking a little perturbed.)

Tina: Lindsay, why are you doing this?

Lindsay: Oh, hi Tina. I'm just doing my monologue..

Tina: (half polite, half annoyed) You're plugging the movie. I thought we agreed not to do that, because it would be cheap and unneccessary.

Lindsay: Well…

Tina: (now rather exasperated) Why do you always have to be such an attention whore? Jeez, Lindsay. You're already a teen movie star. Is that not enough?

Lindsay: Tina, I was just trying to introduce myself! Why are you always so critical? You know teenage girls have such fragile egos…you shatter my self esteem like a Jewish groom shatters a wine glass.

Tina: Well, maybe you could learn a thing or two about modesty! I mean, look at what you're wearing in this movie…(Before Lindsay can answer, a guy comes up to Tina and taps her on the shoulder. He is dressed in a miniskirt, tank top, hoop earrings…the whole teenage getup. He is accompanied by another guy dressed similarly.)

Fan 1: (Speaks normally, not like a girl.) Um, sorry to interrupt, but I just wanted to say that, uh, you're awesome. Mean Girls was so good! Saw it at midnight last night, yo.

Fan 2: (Very excited) Me too…uh, can I touch you?

Tina: (Flattered, but somewhat confused) Aw, thanks guys…but, er…who are you? And why are you wearing…this? (She snaps one of the guys' tank strap.)

Fan 1: Well, you know, we figured…we're really excited about this movie coming out, you know? Me and this guy here, we're both male feminists, you bet we were at the march last weekend…and it's great to see women like you being great comedians. So, to show our support, we dressed as teenage girls to go see the movie. You know, like the Star Wars fans who dress up like aliens and get out lightsabers, and the Harry Potter fans who do the scar and the glasses and the wand and crap…in, uh, commemoration. Of your achievement.

Tina: Well, that's very sweet, in a twisted sort of way…but don't you think it's a little hypocritcal to support feminism by being a skank in drag?

Fan 2: Hey, Christina Aguilera pulls it off.

Fan 1: Come on, man, let's stop interrupting her show. (They head off.)

Lindsay: It's not just her show…(then she grins, and puts her arm around Tina.) We have a great show for you tonight! Usher is here, so stick around!
